Welcome to R2R!
If your NO3 and PO4 are where you want them or even undetectable I would just stop the use of nopox.

No im running higher than my target range im in the 25 to 50 range with the redsea kit , my moni lookd good and my green slimer look bright and polyped out so you think it would be alright to run the nopox for awhile longer thank you for you help.paul

NoPox and biopellets work for nitrates but have almost zero effect on PO4 so it's all about your goal. I stopped using both over the summer as the nopox caused a awful cyno outbreak as I drove my leaves way to low. Personally I would stop using both and switch to dosing distilled vinegar. @Randy Holmes-Farley has sever articles on it and is what he used. So with a pro like him using it I said I'll give it a go and have been much happier without the cyno.

I remember those days lol. Mid 90's we thought we had to have X gallons of those overpriced plastic balls per gallon and T8 bulbs oh and under gravel filters like in freshwater tanks. Oh don't forget the wooden air stones for our skimmers. We listen to the newbies now saying how hard it is today and just want to say kid you have no clue how hands on we were back in the day. I bet I spent 1-2 hours a day on my tank in the 90's I don't think I spent that a month now lol.

I think i had a 5 ft skimmer that probably removed less than my 12 inch one does now lol

The noise those air reeds made and how we could sleep back then lol. Everything now adays is automated and so so much easier but the cost that comes with it is nuts lol
