Carbon everywhere, DT and SUMP

Long story short... my media bag filled with carbon ripped as I was pulling it out and carbon granules are everywhere, including my DT.

Return section of my sump is a tight area. I siphoned what I could out but there's still some in there. Sand bed in the DT has some and I'm ok with leaving whatever is in there and the sump. Question is will this pose an issue down the line? I don't have perfect white sand so I can live with the black specs here and there.

that’s happened to a lot of us. lol. i wouldn’t worry about it. i’ve has no adverse effects in the past with this situation. gfo was another story though.

Ok cool, thanks for the info. Now I better look into better media bags.
