My Zoa's are closing up... was thinking it could be the canister filter with carbon removing trace elements..water paramerters are spot on... Last thing i have done was dosed fusion 1 little heavy to get calcium up to 440ppm.. over 2 days.....anyways cleaning out filter and it is pretty clean, was thinking of removing the carbon bags...any thoughts

Not knowing what "Last thing i have done was dosed fusion 1 little heavy" really means. That could cause them to close up as a natural reaction to a change in water chemistry.
Idf they were closed before the addtion I would try a water change to see if there is something in the water they do not like.

Great and thanks ..will do your recommendation... Do you think carbon is good or bad for reef..was thinking of switching the carbon out for a phosphate filter pad instead.. ?
