Carbon in QT

So I have a fish in QT and am about to start some treatments. I use a HOB filter that comes preloaded with carbon. Will this mess with the medications, and if so what should I replace the HOB filter cartridges with? I change the filter cartridge often.

Yes, remove the carbon filters during quarantine if you plan on treating with meds. The carbon can remove some of the meds.
