Carbon inside roller filter?

Just curious if anyone else ever does this? I haven't installed any media realtors yet, so I've had a bag of chemipure blue inside the roller filter chamber. Used a clip to hold the bag in place so that it doesn't get pulled down in-between the guide bars and the roller fleece (this happened once before and jammed it up. Not a permanent solution, but temporary till I can install some reactors.

You'll probably find it accumulates detritus faster as it's resting in unfiltered water.
