Carbon-mixed reef

Generally never ran carbon….then started running when some of my leathers/softies closed up

Should you run carbon 24/7 all the time or randomly as needed

Do you mean like activated carbon via a sock or reactor ? I cant see how that would upset anything in the tank, my coral always look more happy after I refresh my carbon. I would test your parameters and see if anything is off there.

hmm, yeah I can’t see anyway carbon would hurt anything in your tank. Maybe someone else can chirp in to help !

I think GAC 24/7 is a good plan in most reef aquaria.
