I don't recall the process. but some place in the no2 or no3 cycle. there's carbon monoxide if I recall. I know That it's extremely bad for the tank - fish in the tank if it's to high. if I have several pipes in the basement where I have the tank per city code here. should I even worry about CO2 in the basement from the tank. per city code I am required to have 6 holes in my foundation in the basement for CO2. I also not tank related if brought up in topic. not for radon. they have those pipes running from underneath all the way up through my roof of the house. i'm required by city code to have 12 of those.
 
No, I don’t belive there’s any carbon monoxide in the nitrogen cycle.

Do you mean di oxide? Co2?
The tank produces it.
