I'm running pelleted carbon in a Phosban 150. I have it filled about 3/4 of the way up the column. Flow running through it is about 100 gph, but less than that as it is regulated with a ball valve. Not a lot of movement on the top of the media. Anyway, when I filled the chamber the media was sitting at the bottom of the reactor, I wake up this morning and the media has risen to the top of the reactor. Is this common, or is this a problem that needs to be fixed? I figure as long as the water is being passed through the carbon it is doing its job. Any thoughts or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
