Carbon reactor placement?

I installed a brs mini reactor. I have the hoses intake and outake in the same section in my sump. Is that a problem? Its after the skimmer.

I wouldn't worry. If anything, maybe just have the return line from the reactor go to a different spot in the chamber from the intake.

Agreed with above. Not really an issue, but you may be passing the same water through the reactor repeatedly.

I would just switch the output to another chamber. I have my pump in the first section of my sump, and the output into the return chamber.
