Is ruffly 250 gph to much to run thru a carbon reactor?

Its a tlf 150 reactor with the 2 sponges

I don't have a valve to tune it down so I'm asking?

If too much I have one that's 150 gph but needs a fitting I have to order

Or I have a maxijet 1200

It will be in my sump and running about 2ft total between the pump and the intake of the reactor

You don’t want the carbon to tumble. I’ve had to turn down a MJ440 on a TOF150. Night be worth it to order a set of replacement valves.

my little carbon reactor I just used a pump i had laying around was a rio 800 thats 211gph. I just use some sponge inside the reactor to make sure it holds the carbon in place and has zero movement and havnt had any issues.
