My tank is 2 months old. And sometimes i feel its not 100% clear tiny bit cloudy at the back. Can i run a small carbon reactor? Does carbon hurt anything? Or strip nutrients out of the water

So would it remove nutrient or anything needed for corals growthWhat is a carbon reactor?
Activated carbon granuals in a flow thru filter will remove DOC (dissolved organic carbon) which feeds bacteria. If your cloudy water is a bacteria bloom then activated carbon will help. If algae bloom than uv would help.
Before adding a carbon reactor be 100% sure there’s no algae on the glass. That will make it look cloudy. My tank is 2 months old. And sometimes i feel its not 100% clear tiny bit cloudy at the back. Can i run a small carbon reactor? Does carbon hurt anything? Or strip nutrients out of the water
This too. I would get occasional bacteria blooms when my tank was still that young. They all fixed themselves, no need to run out and buy UV unless it’s a persistent problem. If your cloudy water is a bacteria bloom then activated carbon will help. If algae bloom than uv would help.
I assume you mean granular activated carbon. Sure add it if you think it might help. I would say the system is too new to be concerned about slightly cloudy water. Worry if it is slightly cloudy after a half a year or year.My tank is 2 months old. And sometimes i feel its not 100% clear tiny bit cloudy at the back. Can i run a small carbon reactor?
