Carbon together with Chemipure?

Hello Reefers,
I am trying to stabilize my PH from the night swings as much as possible and at the moment I am running BRS ROX 0.8 activated carbon in my media reactor, and I was thinking of also running Chemi-pure elite to help with stabilizing the PH. Has anyone had any experience with running both at the same time? Any reasons to not run both at the same time? my tank is at 8 -8.1 during the day and dips to 7.93-7.95 at night.
any help is greatly appreciated.

I would not be concerned with degree of a pH swing in a 24 hour period. Also carbon is not going to affect pH.

I wouldn't worry, that's not much of a swing at all.
