ive been told both have there place. ive also been told not to use carbon in coral tanks. is there drawbacks to either ? thanx

Been using ChemiPure Elite for almost 4yrs and NEVER an issue. I have a clam/corals.
Hate it when people make statements without the proper info to back it up :(

I used to use chemical pure and the stuff worked great...
I switched over to
Blue life product, it's called clear fx pro
Omg this stuff is amazing. I will never use anything else.
My phos used to be really high now it's just around 0.01 to 0.05.
It had carbon phos resin and some organic stuff that helps in its own way.

If ur looking for something new to use try it out...

Ps I run ozone in my tank and the carbon in it handles is just fine...
