How will i add carbon in my filter? do i need carbon for saltwater aquarium? how much will i put? thanks [emoji28]

Carbon pulls impurities from the water and makes it crystal clear. Add about 1tbls per 10 gal of water and change every 2 weeks

There are a few ways to deploy carbon, I prefer and suggest a reactor, but placing it in a media bag, in a high flow area works too. The amount you use will depend somewhat on the type you use, i.e. ROX 0.8 (my preference) calls for ~ 1 tbsp per 10 gal., lignite carbon calls for ~ 1.5 tbsp for 10 gal., bituminous carbon ~ 2 tbsp for 10 gal., for the same net affect.

2 weeks is good, although I used to replace mine monthly. Make sure you rinse all the dust(fines) out of it before use.

It doesn't melt, it just stops filtering impurities once it's full. Roughly 2 weeks depending on water quality
