carib sea coated rock

Im switching tanks, and I really like the way the manufactured and Carib Sea coated rock look over what I have now (more of a boulder scape leaning up on the rear of the tank) the million dollar question is, will these coated rocks generate a cycle? some have said yes, but the fish store swears it won't. I have 10 fish, and I don't want to lose them..... do you guys have any experience with these rock? Thank you so much.

The manmade rock is dense and not very porous so not the greatest for harboring nitrifying bacteria but will still do the job. So yes, your tank will still cycle eventually, might take a little longer.
If your asking whether you can swap tanks and use this new rock, throw in the 10 fish and not go through a cycle then the answer is a big no!
Your life supporting bacteria bed is in your old rock and bio media.
Also their line of Life Rock is seeded with a dry bacteria which in itself is controversial with cycling a tank with bottled bacteria.

thank you very much, I was thinking this as well. Im so glad I asked here. if I want to add this new rock, how much and how often can I remove and replace? the tank is 100 gallons plus sump. thank you.

You can remove and replace 10% to 15% of rock a month without causing any harm IMO.
