Caribe Kahuna Black Lava Rock

I am starting a new tank soon and want to go black sand and thought what about black rock. Came across this and was wondering if I could put it in a reef tank. I have looked around and it says freshwater.

This tank will be a reef tank. I really want to show off the bright colors of the fish and coral.

I wouldn't use it, whith lava rock, you have no idea what metals may be in the rock still.

Any ideas on black rock that would work. I want some diff then my last tank. Something that is going to stand out big time

+1 use only live rock or dry rock.

My first
reef back In the 80's was mostly lava boulders I bought from a garden center,best reef I ever had. Now im not saying go do it but my feeling are it was working somewhat like zeo rocks
