My tank is 3 months old with 7 fish and and 6 corals only. Water parameters seem to be in check with weekly water changes but I don't have a magnesium test kit yet. One rock in the middle of the tank in moderate to high lighting is turning white. Is the light bleaching it? Is the paint on the Caribesea paint flaking off into my tank? this seemed to happen over the past 24 hours. I am running 2 Radion XR15 pro lights on LFS template at 65% schedule which gives about 40% intensity. I have a full screen top so sort of a diffuser also.
Bleaching I can handle but if the paint is dissolving and flaking into the tank thats not good. Your thought?
