Hi my reef been runnning for 4 months with live rock but I want to add some Caribsea
Life rock do I have to do anything to the rock or just rinse it and put it in the tank Thanks in advance

Yes, you may get a small diatom stage on the new rocks (as well as a small dino stage) also check your po4 every few days for a month. My caribsea have consistently absorbed po4 out of my system for a while.

They are coated with a bacteria that activates in water, when I last spoke to someone at caribsea they recommended adding straight to a system. No idea if that's a real thing or just marketing junk but either way I have never had issues adding to an established reef.

Ok so basically I could have a mini cycle then

I added about 6 kg and all that happened little bit diatom on the rock that's going now the turbo snails soon sorted that out
