Caribsea vs reef flowers

Hi. I need to decide on substrate today. Stuck between Caribsea Arag Alive special grade (1-2mm) and ‘live’ or reef flowers peak white 1-1.5mm and ‘dead’. Any advice appreciated?

Nb I will not be using live rock (will be curing my old dead rock) and using atm colony.

No point wasting money on live sand, it will become live anyway for free.
No substrate is better than the other, its purely down aesthetics, the only thing I will say to bare in mind is the type of fish you intend to keep, for example if you are intending to keep burrowing fish such as gobies and certain wrasse then choose the finer grain sand, other than that its purely on how you want it to look
