Newbie here!! Went to the store today and picked up 3 small frags the guy recommended for my tank (biocube 29). He said they were hardy and good for starters. Not sure what their called but I'll post pics below. He had me buy A&B c-balance for the frags to put in twice a week. Is this really needed or this just promotes good growth? Any other tips or help would be great! I want to make sure they grow healthy. Thanks !!

They look like Gorilla Nipples zoas, a green Rhodactis mushroom and GSP (green star polyps)

Personally I dont think that the ABC ballance is necessary for just those three. I dont put anything in my tank I can't test for, so make sure you can test for whatever is in the additives.

Agreed! On both the ID and not dosing anything. You really shouldn't have to start dosing until you put a good amount of stony coral in your tank. Water changes with a good salt should be enough until then.

Can someone help me ID these mushrooms please? Also, the mouths are really extended out, is this a bad thing? Thanks!

Those look like Rhodactis mushrooms of the orange variety. They look fine to me.

Anyone know what these little brown flower looking things are growing on my live rock???

I have 120 gals. of softies and I don't dose anything. wc's are usually enough for them. you might want to move the gsp to an isolated rock unless you want it all over your tank.
