Ok guys so I finally took the plunge and began converting my 55 fish only after some back and forth of which fish was going to keep and etc. in midst of redoing my sons tank for the nano in 90 I purchased a whole box of real reef rock and pulled all of my fossilized corals. As of right now only have a few fish and coral.
Here's the before:

Pair of helfrichi fire fish, still a little shy

Lot of big fish for a 55

The black tang and the butterfly are a little big but have plans for a 120-180 in the next six months. Had them both for over 10yrs and had them since juvs in a previous 225 and have a hard time parting with them.
Everyone else is about 2-3 inch max

Here are a couple full tank shots to put some perspective on the size of the fish. I tend to run a larger bioload due to having surplus filtration and do regular 30-50% water changes. All the pref pics were taken as close as possible to try and capture the beauty of each fish.

So went to a local frag swap yesterday with very little intentions to buy much but ended up with some nice new frags that will need to photograph soon and update. But had even less of intentions to buy new equipment. Needless to say got myself a new bubble magus curve 5 and wow what a skimmer. Was running a cadlights pls 100 and had been having some trouble with it and giving up. Timing I guess is everything, got a great deal on the skimmer and less than 24 hours later have great amount of skimmate. Can't imagine what it's going to pull out in a week!
