Hey everyone out there! Re-starting the nuvo 16 in my sons nursery to enter in this contest. The plan is to drain, clean out and
Restart the cycle this weekend. Will post pics before during and after reboot! Looking forward to this and good luck to everyone!!

After full clean out and restarting now for nano in 90. Cured live rock should be going in tomorrow.

Hopefully this is acceptable for the contest. I can also show the livestock that was prev in the nano in my other tank and don't plan on placing them back for this build. Going a different route.

Real reef rock in da house!!!

Fed some pellets make sure the cycle keeps going until I can get some critters next week!

Ok so thinking of going the Eco friendly route. Planning on using all aqua cultured corals and some Eco gorgs. The real reef rock sets the stage, saving the ocean one rock at a time!
Any thoughts or suggestions?

I put one pc of reef rock in my tank and it was the only
One with hair algea all over it. Dunno if it was a coincidence or what.

Not a lot to update so far other than a few Astrea and bumble bee snails, cleaner shrimp and two neon gobies. Have a little new tank syndrome algae bloom but seems to be subsiding.

So slacking doesn't explain it all. Unfortunately lots of health issues in the family and taken up a lot of time. Thankfully so far everyone is doing well. Hopefully the next few posts will be sufficient to fulfill the contest requirements.

Got most of the frags from a local guy for very reasonable prices, need to get an invoice from him to show for tally. More to come soon hopefully!
