. I did pick up a blueberry sea fan today. It looks pretty cool.

This is the animal that led me down this long dark path to understanding bacteria, carbon, carbon dosing, dissolved organics, the mineral composition of the sea, dissolved inorganic compounds,
flow and engineering of mass water flow, the chemical process behind the uptake of minerals and how they are metabolised in corals and the relationship of flow in that process.

The best $30 bucks I ever spent.

Honestly, these guys are used to almost constant feeding in the sea. If this one was aquacultured, you have a better chance. I believe there are some scleronepthias being aquacultured. Also, it depends on the poly size as to what it feeds on. Just oyster feast may not help. You need to give a variety of sps size liquid food.

I would make sure to be giving it a large variety of the sps food available. Also, Reef Nutrition has a food out that works wellfor nps (I was told by RN, not experienced). Check that out. RGComplete or SDAquarist.

Good luck. Good filtration will help with water parameters, but you need the food to remain in the water column for them to eat properly. It is a constant balance game.

Thanks for the advice. You and others are right about the constant food in water column. It says this in the article that I put in this thread. The interesting thing is that even though there was a constant food supply, there were still issues keeping them alive.
One thing that I am monitoring is the growth of a new "branch" on the bottom. It has grown since being introduced. Only by an inch, but it has grown. I will take a pic of the full coral and then zoom in on the newer growth. So, see post below.
