Carpenter vs Mccosker Flasher

Which wrasse do you prefer? What wrasse is better looking?
Is there other wrasses with a red base that is just as pretty? I saw the yellowfin flasher wrasse and the filament flasher wrasse. But they dont look as good. Perhaps the pictures on liveaquaria doesn't do it justice?

I personally prefer the McKoskers as I like the yellow in the dorsal fins vs the blue that can get washed out by the lights.

There are plenty of wrasses that have a red based body. Pin Tails (Cirrhilabrus isosceles) are one of my favorites.

I prefer the McCoskers from an aesthetics point of view but i currently have two Carpenters.

Mccoskers in general imo,but some carpenters can be just as pretty as any mccoskers. On divers den right now, there is a 3.5” carpenters that’s stunning

I saw that carpenter wrasse on DD too! I was leaning towards Mccoskers, but after seeing that carpenter, I had to ask on the forum.

I agree. Pintails imo are prettier than the mccoskers. But I'm not sure if pretty enough to be worth 3-4 times the price. Lol.
