i have flukes in my qt tank a few days ago i did a fresh water dip to confirm. i order prazipro from amazon. i decided to just set up another qt tank because i was running copper in the first one and didnt want that with the prazipro. i dip the wrasse and then placed in a container with some of the old tank water so i could drip him to the new tank. the parameter were pretty close but i figured i should still drip for a while so i did for almost 2 hours. he has been in the new tank for a while and is just laying on the bottom sometimes belly up looking dead. i moved him around good after the dip and when he was in the tank but he looks like he is almost gone. any ideas on anything i can do?

sounds like he's really stressed out. prazi wont kill ich or marine velvet so he could be suffering from that as well. You should move him out of that tank into a new one and start TTM or copper treatment. Are there white spots on the fish? how are you setting up the water? is it the correct PH, and do you have the ammonia badge? Sounds like the current tank water quality is poor.

You should do prazi after the copper or during TTM so you eradicate ick or velvet first. New tank with good flow might help. Make sure water is well oxygenated with correct temp and salinity. Run carbon too.

he hasnt showed any signs of ich. he was in copper for over 2 week before i moved him due to the flukes. i used rodi water and mixed salt yesterday and i have the ammonia badge its fine.

if you are certain it's just flukes would move him into a QT with no medication and make sure he's eating before treating again. prazi is considered 'gentle' though never had any issues with it. Most medications are immunosuppressants and will make it more difficult for the fish to fight off basic diseases and infections.
