Carpet amen help

So the other day my carpet was doing great. In fact everything is doing great. Now he looks like this. Only thing I did was add a new light but kept the white and blue as low as it goes to start. Is he splitting? Should I remove him? All my Parms are on point. He gets feed shrimp once a week as well as pods. Tank also is not new.

No picture, but nems do what they want. They will close up for no apparent reason, and be fine the next day.

He’s been in here about 4 months. Never seen this before. Should I move him to the Isco tank?
