Carpet Anemone Behaving oddly

Hi,

i have a carpet nem that has been in my tank for a few months now... in the past few weeks it has started stretching towards the surface like in the attached photo.

Anyone have thoughts on what might be going on here?

Really hard to tell from the angle of that picture, but he looks to be in a shaded area in front of the tank. He looks like he is stretching towards the light trying to find more. If you can increase the lighting or possibly adjust the angle so he gets more direct light.

have upped my lights in the past few weeks. he seems better but still reaches. any reason he wouldn't move on his own to try and be in better light? Would it make any sense to try and move him myself to a sunnier spot?
