looking for any info that will help me keep this healthy its looking really nice been in since last suday what should i feed it

Feed it a small piece of shrimp or scallops once every two weeks at most. They get almost all of their food through photosynthesis. Too frequent feeding can be dangerous.

What size tank?
What lights?
How long has the tank been set up?
What are your current water parameters?
How deep is your sandbed?
How much flow?

4x18x18 t5 lighting 6x39 watts 2x Red Sea Reef Spec T5 Actinic 22000K 39w 2 x Red Sea Reef Spec T5 BlueWhite 15000K 39w 2 x Red Sea Reef Spec T5 Pink 39w 36 = 234 watts
ammonia = < 0.25 nitrite = 0ppm nitrate = 0ppm po4 = 0ppm mag = 1320 cal = 420 alk = 8.6
and good flow the flow is inderct and it seem to happy sand bed is 4 inches tank been running 17 months

Yours is fine. Some people forget that every single specimen is different and it's never as easy as plugging in numbers to an equation. Yours looks healthy and you're equipment is fine. There's nothing else you can do. Maintain good water quality, use good salt, good light, and feed properly. What else is there in a carpets world? As far as flow goes the carpet will find a happy place on its own.

its never moved since it went in you can just see it tentacles moving and when you put fish food you can see the food getting blown around it

Mine is stuck to the glass and hasn't even touched the sandbed once.

looks nice just hoping my clown will host it there common clowns

It can take months... That black ocellaris had been hosting a BTA. About a month after I got the carpet she changes her mind and decided she'd prefer the carpet. The way it is on the glass it creates a perfect lil bed for her to crash on.
Just be patient and I'm sure your carpet will grow on clown(s).

thanks there seem to be intrested a plating monti its the shape of a saucer

Yeah clowns are kinda bizarre sometimes. My black occ moved from a BTA to a carpet. Then my maroon switched from her rainbow nem to the BTA. Then she switched from the BTA to a small nook in the rock where now hosts her nook... defending it from all comers. weird lil animals. I sometimes wonder if perhaps from all the clown breeding going on there's been quite a bit of inbreeding.

looks like my nem has moved a bit think its reposition its foot what clowns be best for was told skunk clowns would host straight away
