Might just be discharging waste. However, you gotta be careful with new Haddoni's as they are very prone to infection. You also will lose a lot of fish to that thing. They are best kept in a dedicated clown tank.

I wouldn't get rid of it, haddoni usually takes a few days to acclimate. If he deflates a few times then I'd worry about it and treat with cirpofloxacin or septra and if you can't bring him back to your lfs. Haddoni are fish eaters however healthy fish usually understand not to swim around them. They are also sandbed dwellers which means you ahve a less chance of a fish getting eaten. I've heard stories but the only time I've ever seen a fish get eaten by my carpets is when it died or was sick and floated into it. I'd keep an eye on him though and make sure you place him in a good spot. They prefer lower flow but high light. I've housed gigantea and haddoni and haddoni is much more resilient then giganteas. Good luck

I have found the Haddoni to be a pretty hardy anemone as long as you meet some basic needs. They need a finer grain sand, not sugar sized but far from crushed coral ( your sand looks fine). They will move around until they foot to rock base or glass under the substrate. Flow should be mod and lighting mod. Maintain a consistent specific gravity as able.
My last Haddoni ate 3 Domino Damsels and a Clown, it tried to eat a Sea Urchin. The Damsels and Clown tried to dive right into the anemone without acclimation. Haddoni are fish eaters for sure.

Trying to eat my Sea Urchin.

So is that what humble fish ment by I will loose alot of fish? Or from them getting infections

Hopefully my clowns will be ok tonight.. there hanging out by it

No it's common sense. Do not go get a Mandarin and expect it not to eventually wandering into the anemones grasp.

I do not keep Haddoni because I keep sps and I did not want the Haddoni wandering into my other corals, there is always that risk.

Most fish will accidentally brush up against an anemone or coral. It just happens. Sometimes at night, or if they get scared and bolt. This is usually no big deal if it's, say, a bubble tip anemone. The sting marks usually disappear in just a few days. The difference is almost no fish will survive a brush up on a Haddoni due to how sticky/venomous they are. I've only seen large/hardy fish survive it.

Funny you say that Mr. HumbleFish, just this evening our 2 yr old BiColor Angel brushed up our 12" green carpet anemone. He scooted out of there as fast as he could. The wife and I didn't see any sting marks on the BiColor. The only fatality we have had since we got the carpet as been a few snails. They are very interesting creatures to watch especially the bond he has with the Clarkii.

If he actually made contact with some of the tentacles, then that's one tough Bicolor! :D
