Anyone else have a carpet in their mixed reef long-term will it harm a lot of corals and move around alot

They are sand dwellers. If you have a ton of coral on the lower rock work then you may need to move them but many people have success with them in mixed reefs

What kind of carpet? There are a few different carpet anemones.
Carpet is just a general term.
Haddoni are sand dwellers and require sand. Giganteas do move some it depends on allot of factors and reside on rocks, tapetum do move around some and also reside on the rocks..

Haddonis can eat fish and I have had tapetum eat fish.

Green sounds like possibly a haddoni and requires a deep enough sand bed. Not only that giganteas are pretty hard to find right now due to the Indo closure.

Other than Stichodactyla tapetum they should not be put in small aquariums. They also require stable conditions.
