Carpet anemones

So I got a carpet anemone on Saturday and he's been moving around my 75 gallon tank I keep any about 80° but for some reason he chose to attach to my heater and I don't know if that will hurt him

I would try to move the anemone off of the heater.

Yeah, moving it wouldn't hurt. I've had my anemone for around five months, and it still moves often, so be prepared to chase it around for a while.
