Carpet moth treatment

I have a problem, our house has got a problem with carpet moths which is damaging the soft fabrics. However we have a 1000l tank fully stocked in the kitchen. Has anyone treated a house with an aquarium or is the only way to remove the Aquarium before treatment. If I have to shutdown I won't restart the tank. The treatment would involve spraying fabrics walls flooring etc. Any advice would be greatly welcomed.

I would think if even a few drops of the spray got into your system it would be over. Do you have any clue how long the treatment would take? You can try and completely seal the tank as long as the treatment is under an hour. Once you are very sure it has settled the tank could be reopened and if you are able to, opening the windows to air out the house should help. I've never dealt with carpet moths so I can't share more in depth, sorry

I've never had to deal with this issue so everything I say is pure speculation and best guess work, but if you can cover the tank and sump with plastic and seal it up you might be ok especially if you aren't spraying in the kitchen area and you can keep the door closed, but as Saud above it all depends on the chemicals being used and how fine the spray is can make a huge difference, can you get advice from the company doing the job for you or is it a diy job.
