Carpet Nem In Nano?

What do you guys think about a carpet nem in a nano tank? I have a chance to get a nice one for a good price.

Carpet nems are aggressive and they get really large. so be careful with your fish

Extra emphasis on the "really large" part. Way too big/aggressive for a nano.

I only have clownfish! IMO I wouldn't need to add any other fish anyways!

You would be correct! I believe it's around 7ish fully open, It's doing very well!!! I'm super happy to have stumbled across it! It's a mertensii which I got for 75! It's a peach carpet!
However it will out grow this system in the future! It's already doubled in size from the couple months that I have had it.

@Jaag and @Christopher Davis, these are beautiful animals, imo one of the best looking of the anemones. I just hope you are both prepared for when these animals outgrow their home. Some carpets get to be 36"+, and all are capable of 24".

That being said, I wish you both luck. And @Jaag, Christopher Davis already has you beat for picture counts. Let's see this beauty once you get you hands on it!

More than prepared! Can't wait for it to get that big! Will have a harem of clowns for it when I get my 125, when it gets to that point! Should be a couple years!

Now that will be cool! Any specific clowns? I just picked up a SA midnight pair a month ago or so.

I would be wary of carpets eating your clowns. Not all like to host clowns.

Mine have been hosting for 2months now and haven't had any issues. There are lots of carpets that allow clowns to host, key is to find which are compatible with the species you get!
