Carpet nem

Here are some pictures of mine. He's a beast! I just recently moved him into his own tank and bought him a pair of bonded Ocellaris. I'll get some new pictures if/when they are all hosting :)

Here are some of the ones that I have had over the years;

This one loved having a skylight above the tank;

Same one, different tank; Lost it after 4+ years --- had emergency surgery, didn't fully explain that water evaporates from the sump (( at least visually )), and main pump ran dry ))

Had this one for about 12 years, was my first S. haddoni. Ended up losing it when I added a new one that was infected -- this was before the treatment was known.

Had this one for about 2 years, ended up selling it (( along with the clowns )) to a local reefer;

Had this beauty for about a year, lost it to the same infected anemone as the tan one;

The one above and a different one --- sold the one on the left to a local reefer;

Another pic of it,

Bubba (my carpet) died last night. Decided to go for a little walk and cozied up with next to the heater and pretty much melted right to it. It was a mess! I had to take out my heater and scrape him off it. :(

Ouch, sorry. Hope the rest of the systems was not adversely affected.

My older Domino Damsel napping

I had him in his own tank with two clowns, and a small colony of mushrooms. I think with him "Melting" to the heather, it kind of kept him from disintegrating. Got him out in one piece. Did a water change just in case as mushrooms were a little *****. But definitely not a horror story like some. I do miss him though. Was my favorite by far!!

My Haddoni, it's moving right now cause I messed with the flow. It's foot is squarely on top of my rock flower nem... Stupid things

Is there any specific requirement to keep carpet anemone ? Is harder than keep rose anemone ? I have a rose that stay about 1 years and they died .thanks

Then it's likely the water quality, lack of light, or shock of some sort (pH, temp changes, etc). Bubble tips arent very difficult as far as anems go.

Your parameters have to be off....they are pretty hardy guys (IMO) n they grow pretty quickly.... I picked this guy up at Petco for $30 when they had em on sale

Basically just took him home, floated, drip acclimated and done
