Carpet not attaching

Thanks, that’s what I’m doing.

I‘m fairly certain it’s eating, it ’poops’ liquid brown just like my red one does a day or two later, and spits out a small ball of fish bones/scales when fed fish.

I’ll keep the updates coming and thanks for helping!

No change, unfortunately. It still eats, still gaping a little (slightly less, and closes it’s mouth at night) but still hasn’t attached much.

Today I moved it’s foot onto the rocks and turned the flow around it from low to nearly off. Mouth is tighter, foot has mostly attached, let’s see if it stays...

How long does the mouth have to stay gapping before it's a real issue?

I have a giga that's about a week into my tank and it fluffed up fine almost right away, but now overall looks "droopy" and I'm seeing the open mouth for last couple days. It ate fine last week and pooped fine.

Good Q. The anemone this post is about finally attached and is big and healthy, but I have another new carpet that’s been all over the place, health-wise. Started out fine, nearly died (turned almost inside-out), came back, and is now mostly ok but not attaching and also seeming kind of droopy, mouth opens some and closes again a lot.

can you post some photos of yours, especially the mouth?
