I have had my CARs for several months. I move them high and low in my tank - low flow, high flow. The thing is - they are not growing. They may have popped out a tiny baby, but they still are not really growing. So where do other people put the CARs in their tanks?

Thanks - Bil

i have an 18" deep tank with a 250 watt phoenix 14k bulb and i put mine just right on the sand with moderate flow and they popped out two babies in about 2 weeks.

I have mines on high flow and high light. 16" from bulb (150watt phoenix mh with two t5 combo). They seem to grow good with ceramic plugs. I get 5 every month on the singles

I have 2 pieces 1 in high light and 1 in low light seems the one in lower light does allittle better, they are always wide open.. The ones in high light seem to be a good amount smaller but do have better color......

I have two different morphs. One is the standard one which seems to grow well, started with 3 polyps and it's popped about 6 new ones in the past 2 months. The other is different with really curly red tentacles and a lot of yellow between the green and red...and it is incredibly slow growing. Makes PPE look like a weed. I started with 8 polyps a year and a half ago and it is up to maybe 15 now. The morph looks similar to Bowsers and the growth seems pretty comparable.

I tend to give mine mysis and brine with Vitamin C supps few times a week...they started with 4 polyps in October 2009 and now i have close to 20!! They are up high and decent flow. I have 150 MH
