Hello,
I am running my CaRx with masterflex pump. Somehow my ALK is sitting at 10.5 . But I need to lower to about 9. Pump is set at 48 ml/m. Should I increase the output or decrease to lower Alk? Thanks in advance.

Agree with Randy

Although to answer the OP typically you would reduce the flow through the reactor.

If you control by pH, that's a good way. If the CO2 is on a needle valve, reducing water flow may not decrease the delivery of alk and calcium.

Correct that method only really works if you are controlling the pH within the reactor. If you are winging it old school style I would just decrease the bubble count about 20% and go from there.

Thank you Randy and Potato. Will try to see if it going down.
