Casa Magellan

@Magellan your tank is looking great.
Thank you sir! It’s honestly growing too much. My green hammer keeps trying to shade out the zoas on the left, the nirvana zoas are trying to take over the entire rock on the right, my scoly keeps trying to eat the candy cane, the coralline is everywhere...I’ve cut back feeding but the corals don’t seem to have noticed

Thats great. Its time for a bigger tank

update: my cleaner shrimp died after almost 2 years in the tank.. apparently from old age as he was huge, was quite large already when I got him, and only had a life expectancy of 3 years. (Plus all params are good and the rest of the tank is happy). Can’t say I’m sorry to see him go! He was always harassing my corals, and killed any other shrimp I put into the tank.

took the opportunity to get a coral banded, a significant improvement :)

Looks like it’s doing the job! I’ve finally added some modern technology (wireless power strips that connect to an app) and have some dosers in the mail. It’s not as much fun, but less time consuming and my tank definitely appreciates the added stability.
