I got a frag of 3 polyps back in Sept. They looked pretty good when they came in but did come unglued along with just about every other polyp I got from the seller :( I reglued them and they slowly lost color over the next month or so, with the skirts becoming translucent and bleached looking. They were placed on the bottom of a 25" deep tank with T5s. I've had other problems with these lights bleaching things a little at first so I didn't think much of it. Fast forward about 6 months and they look the same, they haven't gained any color back in the skirts and I still have a whopping 3 polyps even after having them in my prop tank with indirect MH light for the last month.

So... What type and how much lighting do you guys have yours under? How fast do they spread and grow for you? What type of flow do they seem to prefer?

I was told these were from Who Dah's orginal colony and the way they looked when they came in I have no reason to doubt that.

Thanks for any help!

Well my colors are consistent with the pics of Whodah's and mine were from his colony.

That said, they didnt look as good under my PC's, but since moving them under a 250w halide the centers have gotten a nice green. Also I have had a 3 polyp frag for about 6 months with NO growth at all.

Mine look great but are pretty slow growers. I have them in high light and high flow.

Good to hear my slow growth isn't too out of the ordinary. Thanks for the input. Going to try giving them a little more light and see how they do...

I bleached mine under t5ho aswell...

mine were probably 12 inches below 4x39watt t5ho until last week, and they changed pretty white during their time there..
