Cat proofing Fluval evo 13.5

Hello, so I want to upgrade my light to a AI prime or kessil but i see alot of people using mesh lids. My cat trys to get on my tank all the time so mesh wont work. What could I use for a lid?

In this specific case it could be worth sticking with the stock light. Is there any particular reason you want to switch lights? I have the Evo and I did upgrade the light to the AI prime but I use the evo light on my coral quarantine and it has done well with the lps and softies I have.
