Cat5 cable

Can i use a standard Cat5 ethernet cable for the Apex? Or does it need to be the apex cable?

I can't reach the router.

I dont know if the newer one requires anything special but this write-up indicates a standard cable is fine.

Network cables are all mostly the same, it's the buss cables that need to be Neptune or so they say
