Hey all, Ive decided I want to remove and re home one of my tangs. Yellow eye kole. She is way too much drama, harasses new fish, picks on other fish that have been there a while and tries to tail strike everyone! My other three tangs are chill. Shes now begun to bite and pull at my foxface’s spines…Problem is I cant get her out… any one have suggestions? Shes about 2.5 to 3 inches

The tank matez fish trap works really well for tangs. It has a mirror in the trap, tangs spend a lot of time in the trap attacking the mirror.

Fish traps are great. Put it in the tank for a few days and ignore it. Then start putting food in the trap, don't feed anywhere else in the tank. After 2 days of food in the trap you should be able to catch any fish you want.

Second alternative, which worked for catching a larger Atlantic Blue Tang for me, was to get a tiny fish hook. Clip the barb off of it. And put a tiny piece of scallop on it. Took 2 trys and I yanked the fish out of the tank, with no damage to the fish. Hook came out clean with no ill effect.
