Cato alge and copeo pods

I have a tremendous amount off copeo pods growing in my fuge.. but I have a filter pad between my fuge and return so none will get to my dt. Can I shake off my cato in my dt to get the pods in there then put back in my fuge? Probably a dumb question but I didn't know if there was bad bacteria built up on the cato that it would be bad to shake off in the dt

My girlfriend was a gragonete goby so I want some pods in there before I get one lol

Why do keep the pods out of the DT? Free clean up crew and fish snacks.

I'd put your filter pad between your skimmer and your fuge.

I have one before and after I'm going to take off the one between my fuge and return for a week or so

My pods make it through the filter pad. When I clean the filter pad I try to shake off as many as possible and put them back in the fuge.
I've checked at night with a flashlight, plenty of pods swimming around. I have a mandarin also for about two years and he's doing great.

Oh good. I'd say keep doing what your doing then. Yea you can put the Chato in the DT no prob I have small rock I put in from the fuge from time to time too
