I have no idea how he made his way all the way up the glass and on to the top of my euro bracing but he did and when he realized that he was caught blue legged, he took a dive right back into the tank.

Ignore the Dinos on my sandbed. I'm working on it [emoji23]

How are you working on the Dino? I’m pretty sure I’ve got the same problem I’ve tried water chances, syphoned the gravel even bio pellets! Still can’t get rid of the bloody thing

I'm actually just starting the battle. I just ordered a microscope for proper identification which is crucial as there are many types of dinos and each react to different treatments differently. Here's the best tread out there on dinos

Mine only seem to be around the sand where there is light. So any place that’s got a over hang, under caves seems to be clear. Is that Dino? Is like a brown slimy coat

Sighhhhh so there isnt a all in one fix.
Yes and no but that will be determined by what you find under the scope. Some are having success ridding certain species with uv light while other species don't respond to uv light. Best thing is to figure out what ya got and head over to that other thread .

Algae needs light. Mine went away with a 12 day blackout. And a 50% waterchange right after the blackout ended.

That crab video was excellent. Further proof that our reefs are endless sources of tiny critters that amaze us.

Stop doing water changes, siphon the sand bed into a filter sock, do a 5 day blackout. Siphon sand into filter sock again. Do not water change until Dino is gone. This is how I got rid of mine. Repeat if necessary

Cute. I had a pet Gorilla Crab in a tub of live rock for a while. He managed to climb out via a powerhead cable. Found him clear across the garage covered in dust & debris from the floor - barely alive. He didn't survive after being returned to the tank.

Man that sucks

And about the dinos.... I've done all the above with [emoji724] luck several times and if you read that thread many others haven't found success with those methods while others have. It's all dependant on the species. So it's definitely worth a shot but unfortunately it didn't work for me. So I need to get a positive ID and go from there.
