Anyone else catch their corals sleeping?

All the time. If I get up at night, I'll peek in on them with a flashlight just to see what's going on. Sometimes you see some stuff you don't normally see during the day.

Pretty sure that’s an Ophiarachna incrassata (your brittle star), they are notorious for killing fish (something I’ve personally experienced), IMO it’s not a matter of if but when. If you have small fish you might want to get rid of it.

I keep a blue and a white flashlight with the tank so that I can look at them with the lights out. It’s a great time to watch everything. It’s a completely different world than when the lights are on.
