Caulastrea VS Tiger Sponge

Hey guys, I just want to share my one of Caulastrea photo.:neutral: It has been overwhelmed by the sponge because I put them too close. I can't do much with the Caulastrea though, so I'll just let them be.:squigglemouth:

Cool photo! We have all put things too close and it's not fun to watch a prized piece get taken over. But it is part of the natural selection of the reef. I do like the sponge in your photo there. Very cool looking. Thanks for sharing.

You should really correct the white balance on that and upload a larger res photo to the Dec POTM contest... This is a cool picture. It will have both Red and Green and it's amazingly interesting.

I got it from East Javanese Island, from the depth of under 10m. It's only 2 inch at first.. and WHAM! it went that far.. :cry:

Just ordinary feeding method.. blended shrimp, pellets for fishes, etc.
Nothing else actually, maybe there's some kind of zooplankton big sized colony so they directly become a food for my sponge oh:

FYI guys, that is not a sponge but a type of colonial tunicate. Botrylloid Tunicates and the Misnamed Tiger Sponge

Do you guys have any information about how to cut them? I already done it twice and killed them :cry:. So if you guys can help me give an information or two, that would be great.
