Just a quick question about this going sexual. Now the old adage was to keep it lit 24/7 so it doesn't go sexual and now what I've been reading is to prune it regularly so it doesn't get crowded and go sexual. I've had this in my fuge for a good 6 months on a 24/7 light cycle and pruned regularly with absolutely no issues at all. I've been trying to get my nitrates to stay higher than what they are now so I wanted to cut the light cycle in half. Do I have to have this macroalgae on a 24/7 light cycle or can I cut it back to 12 hours and be ok?
