I started my refugium a month ago. The algae isn't growing. I think it's dying? What should I do?

I can't right now. I am at work. The light I am using are leds and the light spectrum is rated 6,500k. I think the reason why it's not grow and sorta dying of is because I hardly have any nitrates. It's below 5ppm

if No3 is at 5,,why have a refugium,,whats your Po4 at ?...not enough nutrients to feed the macro,,wait til you have more nutrients to get more macro

Well what does the macro look like? Do you know what strain of Caulerpa it is? Like if its grape caulerpa (has little grape like spheres on it).
