Cause for sudden diatoms outbreak?

My tank must be undergoing some kind of mini cycle and I’m wondering why diatoms would suddenly show up after so long of being gone. Recently, I:

-Added five corals
-Brought back clownfish (after a fallow)
-Had a few astrea snails die

Which is the most likely cause? I’m trying to analyze the algae patterns and how I can prevent outbreaks like these. It’s all over the rocks, sand, and glass. It’s even invading my zoas and GSP, which is leading to some unhappy corals. I haven’t had a diatoms problem like this in months. Thanks!

Generally silicates from rock, sand or even RODI units resin.
Normal process of new tank break in cycle.
Unless it gets out of hand, no worries
You can lightly siphon to loosen/reduce it Avenue add a few snails such as: cerith, trochus, astrea, nassarius and margarita.
