Powder brown was fine last night. Today.. dead.

Oh, sorry to hear, looks like a good, full bodied tang...did you have it long? The discoloration could indicate a bacterial infection, but more likely it is just a post-mortem artifact.

What other fish are in with it and do they look ok?

There is powder blue and a sargent tang in the qt with it.

The seargent has a similar looking mark on its belly! What should i do?

I’ve had that. Fed metroplex and focus with garlic and it cleared up. It looks like a hope being eaten in the fish.

there’s also a third mecidation with metroplex and focus made by the same company, it’s an antifungal, I didn’t use it but I don’t think it’ll hurt.

Meds for bacterial issues are all just a guess, so n this case, I’d go with what you have n order to get things started. Just monitor your ammonia in case the furan nukes your biofilter.
